കാസര്‍ഗോഡ്‌ കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട് ഉപസഭയിലുള്ള പുതുമന ഇല്ലത്ത്ശ്രീ ഡോ. ഗോവിന്ദന്‍ നമ്പൂതിരിക്ക് സാങ്കേതിക സംഭാവനയ്ക്കുള്ള അവാര്‍ഡ് ലഭിച്ചു.ടാഗോര്‍ കലാകേന്ദ്രവും കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട് നഗരസഭയും സംയുക്തമായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ചടങ്ങില്‍വെച്ച് ബഹു. കൃഷിമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ കെ.പി മോഹനന്‍ അവാര്‍ഡ് സമ്മാനിച്ചു.

2012-2014 വര്‍ഷത്തെ മികച്ച സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് പോലീസ് കേഡറ്റ് അവാര്‍ഡ് നേടിയ കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ ഭൂതക്കുളം ഉപസഭാ ജോ.സെക്രട്ടറി ശ്രീ.കൃഷ്ണപ്രസാദിന്‍റെ പുത്രന്‍ ശ്രീ. ശ്രീഹരി.

കേരള എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് എൻട്രൻസ് പരീക്ഷ (2014)യിൽ 124 ാം റാങ്ക്  നേടിയ പി. ശ്രീരാഗ് . പെരുമണ്ണ ഉപസഭയിലെ  പാനാട്ട് ഇല്ലത്ത്  പദ്മനാഭൻ നമ്പൂതിരിയുടെയും  ( ന്യൂസ് എഡിറ്റർ കേരള കൗമുദി) തളിപ്പറമ്പ് കൊയ്യത്ത്  ചെപ്പന്നൂർ ഇല്ലത്ത് ലളിതയുടെയും (  കേരള ഗ്രാമീൺ ബാങ്ക്  പെരുവയൽ ശാഖ )  പുത്രനാണ്. പ്ളസ് ടു പരീക്ഷയിൽ മുഴുവൻ വിഷയങ്ങൾക്കും എ പ്ളസും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

യോഗക്ഷേമസഭ പുത്തിലോട്ടു ഉപസഭയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ 12/01/2014 നു നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ ദേശിയ തല ചെസ്സ്‌ മത്സരത്തിൽ വെങ്കല മെഡൽ നേടിയ പി.ജയകൃഷ്ണനെ അവാർഡ്‌ നൽകി അനുമോദിച്ചു

·     Inviting applications for Ottur Scholarships-2012-2013.

·     Two scholarships, each worth Rs. 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only), are offered to M. B. B. S. / B. D. S. / B. V. Sc / B. Tech. students.

·     Offered only to financially challenged Namboothiri boys and girls from Government (or government-aided) Engineering / Medical / Dental / Veterinary college. Students of self-financing colleges need not apply.

Master Sreedath, son of Sri Padmanabhan Namboothiri (Panate Illam, Kozhikode, Mob 9946108225) and Smt.K.C Lalitha - members of Perumanna Upasabha - has topped in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination with 11th Rank.  He has also to his credit prestigious ranks in several other Entrance Exams viz; All India Engineering Entrance Examination: 48th state rank, Indian Institute Of Technology:2360th rank, Indian Institute of Space Science And Technology:705,National Entrance Screening Test:48th Rank,Cochin University Of Science And Technology: 24th all India Rank, Amritha University Engineering Test : 229 ( All India Rank), Vellore Institute Of Technology Engineering Test:108th all India Rank. He was selected at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research ( IISER) and also Indian Institute Of Science Bangalore ( IISc).

He has joined I.I.T Madras for Aerospace Engineering (Five Year B Tech - M Tech Dual Degree course)

Ottur Schoolarship 2012 - Date Extended to 15th April

 Applications are invited for Ottur Scholarships offered to financially poor Namboothiri boys/girls, having their total annual family income less than Rs. One lakh and fifty thousand.    This year the offer is for two scholarships. Each scholarship, worth Rs. 10,000 per year (Rupees ten thousand only), is offered to a candidate pursuing MBBS / BDS / BVSc / B. Tech stream.
