Yogakshemasabha Vanithasabha Kannur District committee convention was organised today. Dr. S Devaky Antherjanam, President of State Vanitha Sabha and Smt. Tangoor Saraswathy Antherjanam, State Secretary chaired the meeting. Sree Narayanapuram Aaksharasloka Samithi member Smt Umaya Narikkodu Mekkad, winner of Kerala Aksharasloka Samithy, felicitated State Vanitha Sabha leaders. This years Vanitha Sabha programmes including Kshemasree micro-fiance projects were charted in the convention. It was decided to expand the functions of existing Bhajana Group, Sahasranamam Group and Thiruvathira Group. Seventy lady members representing 17 Upasabhas in Kannur district participated in the meeting. A host of cultural programmes were also held after the meeting.
