Gayathri, New Delhi - Silver Jubilee Celebrations
Gayathri, the organisations of Namboothiries in Delhi, will be completing 25 years of its presence in Delhi. It is a dream of every member of Gayathri family to celebrate the Silver Jubilee in a memorable manner. 2011 will be considered as Silver Jubilee Year, with a mega event being held towards the end of the year. The celebrations will include seminars/workshops, exhibitions, cultural events, food fest, etc. A documentary film is under production about the development and growing presence of Gayathri.
The inauguration of year long celebrations will be held at Tamil Sangam Auditorium, R.K. Puram, New Delhi on Sunday February 13, 2011 at 5.30 p.m., along with the Silver Jubilee Logo release and presentation of “Akavoor Memorial Awards” for Literature and Kathakali. On this occasion, Ms. Parvathi Ramesh and her group will present a Bharanatyam recital.
Organising Committee, invites all members to attend the functions along with family and friends.

Parenting Class by Pathanamthitta Jilla Sabha.
Yogakshemasabha Pathanamthitta District with the participation of Adoor, Panthalam and Pathanamthitta Upasabhas, conducted a oneday seminar on parenting on 18-12-2010 at Perumballil Padinjare Illam, Adoor.
The meeting was chaired by Adoor Upasabha Vanitha wing President Smt. Shylaja.S.Potty. Smt. T.R Geetha, State Vanitha President inaugurated the Seminar. District Secretary Smt. Soya and Upasabha Secretary Sri Narayanan Namboothiri were other officials chaired in the meeting.
The classes were led by Dr.A.K Prema, imparting awareness to parents on how to refrain our youth from falling into traps set by new world charm. “aadhunikathayude mayavalayathil nammude kunjungal veezhathirikkan ammamaar ariyendathu” was the subject of keynote. Around 50 mothers from various parts of district attended the class.
