A delegation of state officials today met Cochin Devaswom Board President and submitted sabha's charter of demands. The move is in the wake of sabha's plans to extend its agitations to Kochi and Malabar devaswoms, following its hunger strike at Travancore Devaswom Headquarters at Trivandrum. The demands mainly seek solutions to various service/pay irregularities that the temple priests under Kochi devaswom is being subjected to currently.

Hon.Sabha President Sri Akeeraman Kalidasan Bhattathirippad today met labor minister Sri K.P Gurudasan and presented a memorandum seeking redressal to various service related anomalies the temple priests of the state are being subjected to.

Hon.State President Sri Akeeraman Kalidasan Bhattathirippad, General Secretary K.M Parameswaran Nampoothiri, Treasurer Madhu Marangad, Vice President T.V Vasudevan, State Committee Member A. Agnisarman Bhattathirippad and IT Cell Secretary Unni Thottassery were present in the group. The team was received by Sri Krishnan Thamprakkal, son of late Valiya Thamprakkal and next in line to his seat. Sabha leaders pledged full support and co-operation for the continuance of legacy as set by the Azhvanchery tradition.
