Ernakulam:  Sabha pays tributes to the departed leader Sri T.M.Jacob.  A press release issued by Hon Sabha President and Gen.Secretary pointed out virtues of the deceased Minister as a true leader who stood for the values of democracy. and protection of it.

Vanitha Convention At Kannur

Yogakshemasabha Vanithasabha Kannur District committee convention was organised today.  Dr. S Devaky Antherjanam, President of State Vanitha Sabha and Smt. Tangoor Saraswathy Antherjanam, State Secretary  chaired the meeting.   Sree Narayanapuram Aaksharasloka Samithi member Smt Umaya Narikkodu Mekkad, winner of Kerala Aksharasloka Samithy, felicitated State Vanitha Sabha leaders.  This years Vanitha Sabha programmes including Kshemasree micro-fiance projects were charted in the convention.  It was decided to expand the functions of existing Bhajana Group, Sahasranamam Group and Thiruvathira Group.  Seventy lady members representing 17 Upasabhas in Kannur district participated in the meeting.  A host of cultural programmes were also held after the meeting.

Newly Elected Officials Takes Charge

Newly elected State officials of Sabha for the year 2011-12 assumed charge with swearing in ceremony.  The oath of office was conducted by Chief Returning Officer Sri M.G Pankajakshan Unni.  Sri Akeeraman Kalidasan Bhattathiri took over as State President for the fourth consecutive term.  General Secretary Sri Swarnath Narayanan Nampoothiripad and other executive committee members assumed office. 

Navaneetham-2011 Eranakulam District Arts Festival

       Inauguration of the Organising Committee office in connection with the NAVANEETHAM 2011 will be held today in Ankamaly at 5 p.m. by Municipal Chairman, Ankamaly Muicipality.  The events will be held on 6th,12th & 13th November. Last date for registration is 15th October.
