Swagatha Sangham Formed for Sabha Annual Meet 2012

Payyannur: 13-05-2012:  As a part of preparations for the forthcoming annual meet, a Steering committee has been formed with Sri Madhu Marangad as the General Convener.  The 3 day meet set on september 21,22 and 23 will be held at Payyannur.  Arrangements are in full swing for the success of the meet.  It is decided to hold a procession of 20000 members on the final day.

Sabha Welcomes Govt Move

THIRUVALLA: The Yogakshema Sabha has welcomed the State Government decision to introduce welfare fund for employees and santhis of private temples.

In a statement on Monday, Yogakshema Sabha president Akeeramon Kalidasa Bhattathiri said that with the launching of the welfare fund, a long-standing demand of the sabha, the government protected the interests of thousands of hapless employees of the private temples across the state.“The sabha requested the government to take into consideration the ‘karazhma’ employees of the temples under the administration of the Travancore, Cochin and Malabar Devaswom Boards after the retirement,” Akeeramon said.
