The Yogakshema Sabha has welcomed the State Government decision to
introduce welfare fund for employees and santhis of private temples.
In
a statement on Monday, Yogakshema Sabha president Akeeramon Kalidasa
Bhattathiri said that with the launching of the welfare fund, a
long-standing demand of the sabha, the government protected the
interests of thousands of hapless employees of the private temples
across the state.“The sabha requested the government to take into
consideration the ‘karazhma’ employees of the temples under the
administration of the Travancore, Cochin and Malabar Devaswom Boards
